Bex co-founded Platform Places after 8 years spent activating buildings for local benefit – including growing her own community-led enterprise Library of Things to 11 London high street hubs.
Bex had found that one of the biggest barriers to community enterprises starting and sustaining was the lack of access to affordable, secure and long-term property. She found that asset owners and councils were struggling to find amazing people and ideas to activate buildings for local benefit. So she brought us together to kickstart the conversation.
Now she leads on recruiting, rallying and fundraising, taking an entrepreneurial approach with the big ambition in mind.
