Transform your town centre

We connect you with community leaders and asset owners, to unlock buildings for long-term community use and ownership.

    • We work with you to bring key local stakeholders to the dinner table. Together, you develop a shared vision for your town centre.

    • We help map ownership of all the assets in a town centre, then help the Partnership to lease or purchase, then activate 3-5 strategic assets.

    • You get a dedicated mentor and access to a network of council peers who’ve done this before.

    • Access funds, technical expertise and template policies – then attract a mix of further investment with your success story.

    • Get help to make the business case for community occupancy and ownership.

    • Activate 10, then 25 buildings and beyond.

    • Ensuring councillor- and director-level support for this approach

    • Making sure the council is contributing its own buildings for local use and benefit, whether through leasing or asset transfer

    • Being an ‘unblocker’ – working across council departments and cutting through bureaucracy to help the Partnership to overcome any challenges

    • Longer-term, working to change policies to support more of this way of working

  • The initial phase is a 4-month commitment. We recommend 0.5-1 days per week of officer time – ideally someone with influence within the Regeneration team, plus a councillor to sponsor the project.

Our pricing is under development through our pilot Partnerships, so please express your interest to learn more. Our aim is that our pricing is not prohibitive to any council joining the programme.

A Local Property Partnership begins with a visionary councillor or officer like you.
